Stephanie Munn, Executive Director at the Y and Wendy Newman, recent graduate of Artsville’s fall Virtual Gallery of Artists cohort, discuss the significance of community outreach, art partnerships and creative programming for improved health outcomes. March 15 - May 15- Virtual Gallery of Artists (VGA) Pop-Up Exhibit at the Ferguson Family YMCA in Candler. “Small Works” by painters from Artsville’s Virtual Gallery of Artists. 

Monday, April 8: Art Talks at the Y in Candler - This bi-monthly series introduces Y members and non-members to an energetic hour of discussion, networking and demos. Thursday, April 11- New Artsville Podcast focuses on Glass Art with Executive Director of the North Carolina Class Center. Candace Reilly speaks to the history and growth of the glass movement in Western North Carolina as Chihuly at Biltmore Estate takes center stage in Asheville. Saturday, April 13 Photography Workshop with Wendy Newman. This exciting workshop, only available in Asheville twice yearly, teaches the basics of outstanding portraiture from your mobile phone.
