Exploring Asheville: Edgy, Artsy and Inviting with Marla Tambellini

Marla Tambellini, retiring this year as Senior VP of Marketing

There’s a whole lot of talk these days about Explore Asheville and its service to the city of Asheville and surrounding areas. In November, Artsville Collective offers you a meaningful podcast from Marla Tambellini, retiring this year as Senior VP of Marketing, after almost 30 years of strategic marketing, branding and community relations. Please listen here and consider the support that Explore Asheville has provided in sponsorships and marketing services for our arts organizations, telling the stories of our art culture and driving visitor traffic to our galleries, studios and events. On a personal note, Louise has had the good fortune to work with Marla since she arrived in Asheville in 2021 and have seen both the growth and opportunities Marla has fostered for our community.

“Marla, you will be missed and remembered for your passion and commitment benefiting the arts in Asheville.” - Best of Luck, Louise Glickman
Artsville Podcast: Episode 24 with Marla Tambellini

Our first group of talented Virtual Gallery artists (VGA) got to meet and share ideas in mid-November at The Dripolator, Candler’s favorite hangout for yummy coffee and parties. This first get-together, part of the Virtual Gallery’s unique marketing program for our cohort, includes innovative ways to share ideas, get to know each other and build a team as well as individual careers. If you are interested in learning to utilize Artsville’s tools to show, tell and talk about your own work, apply for the VGA program starting mid Feb- May.  Learn more and apply here.
